What is it?

It is a premarital contract by public deed in which the rules of the conjugal partnership (between spouses) or patrimonial (between permanent companions) are agreed upon. Its object can be the contributed goods, donations or concessions or even that that society does not exist.

  • 1. Can matrimonial agreements be modified?
     

    Yes, everything that is agreed upon can be modified, but such modifications must also be made by public deed and at the time of making them. Also, the same people who attended the previous agreement must be present.
